Z01 Yacht charter - Sailing holiday in South West Portugal
Leaving Lisbon we will sail over the river Tagus, close to the famous Belem tower. From there we'll sail upon the Atlantic Ocean, heading south, with the wind in our back. We will anchor the first night on a beautiful location. Two days later we sail around Cape St. Vincent, the South West point of Portugal. This leg is around 65 miles, which means that we eat at sea and we'll round the cape around midnight, a spectacular sailing trip. The chance to see dolphins is very high, which is always a special moment. The last days of this sailing holiday we will be sailing along the Algarve, the south coast of Portugal. A sheltered sailing area with very nice temperatures.

Z09 Yacht charter – Sailing holiday Balearic Islands, Ibiza & Mallorca
From San Antonio on Ibiza we sail to the north coast to anchor. Depending on the wind, we will sail the next day to Mallorca, a distance of 60 miles so a good day of sailing. We eat at sea, and around midnight we'll go at anchore. The following days are a combination of relaxed sailing and snorkeling. We end this sailing holiday in the beautiful old town of Palma. If you want you can book an extra night in Palma on board, based on Bed and Breakfast for € 45,- per night, so you can explore the island.

Z15 Offshore Yacht Charter – No nonsense Sail training
Sail training through the Strait of Gibraltar via Gibraltar and Tarifa, overlooking Africa. How we sail exactly depends on the wind. There can be a strong Poniente (west wind) and a strong easterly flow, because the Mediterranean dries faster than it is replenished by rivers. After the Strait passage we sail up to the Atlantic Ocean and we end this sailing trip in beautiful Cadiz. We have to take our advantage with tides, it can also be stormy at Tarifa, which can make this a difficult passage. Thus sailing for the sailing enthusiast, with also a chance to see whales. Z16 Offshore Yacht Charter – Sail training from Spain to Portugal
A no-nonsense sail training. In several legs we will sail from Cadiz via Lagos or Sagres to Lisbon and Sines. This means that we sail through the first night and that the passengers are divided in our 4 hour watch system. If the weather allows it, we will have a day of rest between the legs. After rounding Cape St. Vincent, the southwestern cape of Portugal, there is an ocean swell, an impressive spectacle, and it also means spectacular sailing, the probability of dolphins is also very large. The last day we sail up the river Tagus, passing Torre de Belem to the center of Lisbon. In the evening we go out to eat at restaurant Terra and then we walk into the bustling center. f you want you can book an extra night in Lisbon based on Bed and Breakfast for € 45,- per night, so you can explore the city.

Information about our sailing holidays
Categories of our sailing holidays
- Category A: Offshore sailing holidays, includes also sailing throughout the nights. Guests will be grouped in the watch system (maximum 6 guests).
- Category B: Offshore sailing holidays on a lighter scale. There will be no sailing throughout the night, but occasionally a late arrival at the harbour or an early departure (maximum 8 guests).
- Category C: Sailing holiday with flexible planning depending on the weather and the wind, including more time for daytrips and sightseeing (maximum 8 guests).
- Category D: Expedition, new sailing area, planning depending of authorities, wheather, swell, tides and wind. Long sailing days alterated with daytrips ans sightseeing on shore (maximum 8 guests).
- Category E: Training offshore sailing.
Price and board cash of a sailing holiday
- The price of the voyage is the rent for ship and crew, which must be paid up front to Offshore Yacht Charter.
- The board cash is the contribution for food and drinks on board (also for the crew) and for fuel, water, electricity and tourist tax. These expenses must be paid in cash to the skipper upon boarding. The contribution left over will be divided evenly amongst the guests at the end of the trip.
- An extra overnight stay on board is possible at some of our sailing trips *. Bed and Breakfast for € 45,- per night per person.
- If here are less than 4 participants, the cash box is usually not sufficient. In that case there will be an extra charge on the board cash of € 50, - per person (what remains will be returned).
- A deposit of € 25,- has to be paid p.p. a week.
Boarding for the sailing holiday
Boarding on the first day of the sailing holiday is at 18:00 local time. It's not possible to come on board earlier because of cleaning and provisioning the ship. Possibly you can leave your luggage at the harbour office untill boarding. After boarding the cabins will be divided, and after dinner there will be an explanation about the ship and the safety of the ship and crew. Departure on the last day of the trip is at 11:00 o'clock.
Transfers for your sailing holiday
Transportation to and from the ship is not included and has to be arranged by the passengers themselves. You can find more detailed information, about the various ports and getting to the ship, at the webpage transfer & travel information.
Youth and group discounts on our sailing holidays (board price)
- If you book another sailingtrip within a year, you will get a discount of 10% on the boardprice.
- If you book as a group (3 persons or more), everyone of your group will get a discount of 10% on the boardprice.
- Youth discount, under 29 years you will get a 10% discount on the boardprice.
- Discounts cannot be combined.
Private charter (ideal for a sailing holiday with family or friends)
You can also rent the ship and crew for a privat charter. Multiply the board price with 6.5 + board cash for each person. For private charter, you can choose one of the offered sailing holidays, provided there are no other bookings for that sailing journey. Last-minute deal on sailing holidays
Sometimes we offer last minute discounts on our sailing holidays. See the schedule or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest news and offers. Nevertheless, we advise you not to wait for this, because our sailing holidays are not expensive compared to others, while the price of your ticket is much more expensive if you book this last minute.
